The Fyzabad Regional Community Complex offered a bunch of activities planned for the year, 2021, for everyone through ZOOM, a web-based video platform that can be easily accessed through your computer, tablet or smartphone.

Helping Seniors Embrace Technology
To embrace the Senior Citizen Community in the Technology age which has taken over everyday life during this pandemic.
Target: Provide interesting opportunities to keep the Senior Citizens Active, informed and entertained via online platforms.
Target Audience: Senior Citizens ages 60 and over.
FRCC's Baking Series
This activity is the initiative of the FRCC and collaborates with Ms. Alicia Du-Boulet Spencer (Tutor), owner of Doux Main Catering from Siparia. These are episodes that are pre-recorded and edited then shown via ZOOM to the participants who applied and paid for this session. All ingredients are provided. The tutor commentates over the video as it plays live where she interacts with the participants and answer questions live. This activity started in September 2020.
Seniors Stretch - Daily Activity
Daily interaction with the Senior Citizen where they will start their day with a “Stretch” activity to help with healthy body function.
Keeping Up with your Health Talks - Fortnightly Activity
This Activity will bring together the Senior Citizen and professionals in the Health industry who will share information on various health issues which affect the Senior Citizen.
These professionals will provide an avenue for one on one communication geared toward improving the health of the Senior Citizen.
Memory Lane - Fortnightly Activity
An event which takes the Senior Citizen “Down Memory Lane” with the hope of improving their self-esteem and feeling of inclusion and being heard.
Virtual Tour - Fortnightly Activity
Taking Senior Citizens on virtual tours of countries, tourist sites and other places of interest geared toward reducing boredom.
Colour/Paint/Chat/Sip
This activity will again merge the family unit with an activity they can safely enjoy.
This activity will give the participants an opportunity to chat with friends and peers in an informal and comfortable setting while completing the same activity together.
